The club was established in March 2017 by Barbara Plews and Jackie Sullivan, who met up doing their Level 2 course having been league club playing rivals in the past. Together they thought there was a lack of junior clubs in the area, and wanted to put something back into the sport that they loved.

 

The club has moved venues to enhance their facilities and now have 4 courts in a brand new sports hall in the centre of Canterbury. All coaches and administrative helpers give their time on a voluntary basis which keeps the costs down and therefore makes it inclusive to all.
