Automated Shuttle Feeder
The club has recently purchased a shuttlecock feeding machine to assist in the coaching sessions. Many thanks go to The Mary Edmondson Trust which supports junior sporting development in the Canterbury area for their financial contribution. View gallery for images of the feeder at work!

New Covid Restrictions
Reminder that anyone over the age of 11 MUST wear a facemask when entering/exiting the building and in all communal areas of the sports hall. Failure to do so may mean refusal of entry.

Additional Session
We have recently added an extra session to focus on particular areas. Players are invited along for a limited time in small numbers for more specific development in different aspects of the game.

Div 3 Match - Herne Bay Juniors
Result - Canterbury Juniors 8: Herne Bay Juniors 4
Well done to the Under 12’s team playing in Div 3 of the North Foreland Junior League who continued winning ways on Saturday with an awesome away win against Herne Bay Juniors.
Andrew, Jaishwin, Ned, Devan, Saketh & Sameera approached this first match of the season with great enthusiasm. This was the first experience of any kind of competition for Ned, Saketh & Sameera and they certainly did us proud. With the support of the other 3 slightly more experienced players the team produced some good badminton indicating the progress being made with our youngsters.
Some of the games were of a very high standard for their ages from both teams and impressed everyone looking on for their ability and match play.
Knowing we have more young players of a similar standard it is encouraging to know we are developing a real depth within the club.

Div 2 Match - Herne Bay Juniors
Result - Canterbury Juniors 11: Herne Bay Juniors 1
Congratulations to Max, Arihant, Arthur, Abi, Sam & Aum (find the team picture in the gallery) in their Div 2 league match against Herne Bay Juniors on Saturday.
An outstanding result for the team in their first match of the season finishing with an 11:1 win. The loss was a very close 21:19.
Each player played 1 singles and 2 doubles of 1 game to 21 points and there were some very close matches but the players stuck to their task and kept the pressure up all the way through.
The future looks bright for Canterbury Juniors with these young players leading the way.

North Foreland Junior Tournament 2022
Congratulations to all the players who took part in the North Foreland Junior
Tournament last weekend.
It was a great effort by all players with Canterbury Juniors coming away with a
total of 17 trophies across all age groups with every player competing to their
